The only products by Stila that I really like, are their eyeshadows. Their eyeshadows are the greatest! They go on perfectly, the color is amazing, and they last all day! So when I saw this NEW Summer Palette, I knew I was going to love it! How great are these shades!

Talking Makeup has the scoop to Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos look from the 15th annual Race to Erase MS red carpet extravaganza.
The theme of the red carpet event was old Hollywood and with that in mind, Celebrity Makeup Artist Bret Boreman took his inspiration from the icon’s of the 1960’s and created a modern day “Glam Goddess” on Maria. “I took old Hollywood, and gave it a modern twist,” says Boreman.

“I wanted the look to have fresh, dewy skin with a stained red lip. To do this, I colored the lips using a red pencil, then with my index finger, I pressed the color lightly giving the lips raspberry red, stained appearance. I had the chance to attend a great concert last week and see A Fine Frenzy perform. A Fine Frenzy is the band name for the uber talented Alison Sudol a 22yd old self taught pianist and singer/songwriter. Her lyrics are reminiscent of fairy tales and if the lyrics aren’t enough to draw you in Alison’s haunting voice has you hooked.
On top of being musically gifted Alison is gorgeous, I swear some girls get it all! I love her makeup so I did a little hunting to find out her favorite products which I have listed below. Alison Sudol: I do this thing with my mascara when I’m in a hurry: when I can’t get my eyeliner done correct, I use the mascara wand and I gently rub it against the bottom of my eye and it gives me sort of a messy, smoky look. A makeup artist taught me once to get a brown or dark purple eyeliner and warm it up on your thumb. Let it warm up and use the applicator side and gently put it on your eyelid and rub it in, and you can put eyeshadow over it to get a nice smoky eye. And blush. Even if you don’t have time to put on anything else, blush perks you right up.
