On my fabulous trip to New York I was lucky enough to visit the Kiehl’s flagship store, which has been doing business in the same place since Kiehl’s first day in 1851! The store is beautiful, filled with historic motorcycles and crystal chandeliers it appeals to both men and women.

It is obvious that Kiehl’s employees not only love the products they sell but they love the company they work for. I want to thank Barbara for the great store tour and Rachael, Kiehl’s PR rep for setting up this great visit. As we toured the store and asked questions you can tell by their knowledge they have a true love for what they do. All the Kiehl’s employees are dedicated to find the right product for each customer based on their individual needs you can even try before you buy with sample sizes to make sure you are buying what works for you.

I loved Kiehl’s since I first tried it in high school, but on my trip I found a new product obsession perhaps my favorite product I have tried all year. Two of my favorite Kiehl’s products:

To say I love this hair mask would be an understatment. I decided to dye my blonde hair brown last fall and since then I have been trying to make my way back but my poor hair has taken a beating and I have tried all kinds of products to restore some of the softness and shine. Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Rapairative Hair Pak feels like a whipped mouse and coats your hair easily.

One of my favorite things with this product is it only needs to stay in your hair 3-5 minutes most hair masks need almost an hour and with two young kids at home an hour can be hard to find not to mention sneaking in the shower twice. Kiehl’s Olive Oil Hair Pak has a great light scent and after 5 minutes it rinsed away without leaving any residue. The best part though is my brush actually glided through my now soft and supple hair without the normal fight to get the knots out.

This was one of my first Kiehl’s products and I have loved it ever since. I love the little tingle it leaves on my face, it leaves my skin refreshed and really clean and helps keep my skin from feeling overly oily. I just noticed the Blue Astringent Gel Cleanser it looks great I am thinking it would feel amazing in the summer.
