Want to know how to acheive the perfect brows?  Try these 3 simple steps!! (I’ve got it all down except the not plucking above the brow…I always have a few I’ve gotta pluck!) 

• Trace: Use a white eye pencil to outline your ideal brow shape, then plucking hairs outside the line.
• Pluck: Only tweeze beneath and between the brows. (Most pros prefer slant-tip tweezers) Removing hairs above can result in a lower arch.
• Perfect: Use a pencil the shade of your brows to fill in gaps, blen with brow powder two shades lighter and set with.

Update- So I finally tried Cover Girl’s Lash Blast yesterday and I am head over heals in L O V E! It made my lashes look a mile long and even though the brush looked really big my lashes had volume without clumping. I was able to wear it until late in the evening without any of it wearing off or smudging on my eyes. I am going to save some serious money not shelling out $23 for DiorShow again Lash Blast seriously blows it out of the running. Gas prices soaring might be keeping you home for the holiday weekend so sneak out on your lunch break today and buy a tube you can amuse yourself for a weekend by checking out your amazing eyes in the mirror!

I got hooked on Diorshow last year but as great as it was I noticied that after 2 months of use it seemed to flake pretty bad and it would wear off before the end of my day.  At $23 a tube I would expect it to last the full 6 months container life it promises on the side. Though I do think it is an amazing mascara I thought it started drying out too quickly so I started trying new mascaras recently.

 After trying a few big Sephora brands I decided to hit the drugstore and try out the more affordable brands. One of the first mascaras I tried was Cover Girl LashExact mascara and I absolutely love it! Instead of the normal wand with bristles the lash exact has silicone like bristles I was a little apprhensive about how well it would go on. To my surprise the mascara goes on super smooth and not only does it add a lot of volume without clumps it made my eyelashes look a lot longer.

I have only been using it for a few weeks so I will update once I find out about the longevity of each tube for only $7 this gives you all the volume of Diorshow and adds serious length.
