L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist

Source: talkingmakeup.com

L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist is another product I had the luxury to test thanks to Total Beauty.

L'Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist

I must admit that I only tried only few self-tanners in my lifetime. I never really got into the all self-tanning ‘thing’. So needles to say I was a bit skeptical trying L’Oreal Paris Sublime Self-Tanning Mist.

I was very pleased and surprised with how great this product is. It was so easy to apply, you just spray it on your body at any direction and on any body part you wish to tan. It dries extremely fast and I mean in seconds. The drying speed was a major plus because I want to use a self tanner but I don’t always want to make a project out of it. I just spray, dry, and get dressed. Perfect! The color developed on me beautifully, not orange. Just a sun-kissed healthy looking skin. The scent could have been a bit lighter or even fragrance free. Once again, I’m a big ‘anti-scent’ or ‘fragrance-free’ person when it comes to skincare. L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist made me believe in self-tanners. All in all a great product for the money, only $9.99.

L’Oreal Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate & Oil-Free Lotion

Source: talkingmakeup.com

I had the luxury to test out for a week, two skincare products from L’Oreal Paris, thanks to Total Beauty: Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate and Skin Genesis Oil-Free Lotion.

I would like to begin by saying that I loved both products and I now incorporate them into my daily skincare routine. This is why: L’Oreal Skin Genesis Multi-Layer Cell Strengthening Daily Treatment Serum Concentrate was packaged nicely in a silver sleek bottle, and dispensed the serum easily without any mess. The actual serum feels wonderful on the skin. When I put it on my skin it felt invigorated and soothed. The results versus the claims the package made matched when it comes to making my skin a bit smoother to touch and texture.

L'Oreal Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate

I can’t quantify how much my skin actually built strength and elasticity, and produced collagen, but I did feel my skin seemed more resilient and firm. Ladies, this concentrate is a great value for money. You don’t need to spend lots of cash or travel far to get a great serum like L’Oreal’s Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate (only $19.99). L’Oreal did a fabulous job in creating a product that uses the latest skincare technologies. This serum, however, is scented lightly. Although I would much prefer it was completely fragrance-free the scent didn’t bother my very sensitive nose too much. The scent is not too strong and overpowering, so I can live with it.

I used L’Oreal Skin Genesis Serum Concentrate together with L’Oreal Skin Genesis Multi-Layer Cell Strengthening Daily Treatment Oil-Free Lotion which I also worked great with my skin.

L'Oreal Skin Genesis Oil-Free Lotion

L’Oreal Skin Genesis Oil-Free Lotion hydrated my skin, it wasn’t greasy, and it absorbed into my skin nicely. Once again, I would prefer it was fragrance free but the smell wasn’t too bad. I know there is a fragrance-free version of it, so just look for it when you go to your local drugstore, I’ve seen it. My skin did feel smoother, softer and firmer. And I would recommend L’Oreal Skin Genesis oil-free to my friends. The price is right too: $19.99.

Brow Know-How

Source: makeherup.com

Want to know how to acheive the perfect brows?  Try these 3 simple steps!! (I’ve got it all down except the not plucking above the brow…I always have a few I’ve gotta pluck!)

  • Trace: Use a white eye pencil to outline your ideal brow shape, then plucking hairs outside the line.
  • Pluck: Only tweeze beneath and between the brows. (Most pros prefer slant-tip tweezers) Removing hairs above can result in a lower arch.
  • Perfect: Use a pencil the shade of your brows to fill in gaps, blen with brow powder two shades lighter and set with.

Pictured: Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester.  How cute is she!?  And what a great lipstick!!

PS: This is my favorite brow liner:

Introducing a new DuWop product! Cheek Venom!

Source: makeherup.com

duwop_cheek_venom.jpg

Cheek Venom from DuWop is a hydrating and conditioning blush infused with a special formula that creates a natural-looking flush.

DuWop Cheek Venom is a conditioning blush that contains a carefully balanced blend of silicones and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and condition as well as firm and tighten the skin. It goes on silky smooth and gives a satin finish that’s never greasy.

Cheek Venom contains the same venom blend of essential oils as Lip Venom, to warm the cheeks while bathing the senses in the lightest hint of scent. This process creates a natural flush by stimulating circulation. DuWop has then enhanced this effect with the addition of long-lasting pigments that will leave a trace of color that lasts all day.
